The National Green Building Standard™
The National Green Building Standard™ certification goes well beyond saying a home is energy efficient; it provides independent, third-party verification that a home, apartment building, or land development is designed and built to achieve high performance in six key areas: Site Design, Resource Efficiency, Water Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Building Operation & Maintenance. In fact, it is the only green building certification program that has been recognized as an ANSI standard.
ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

ENERGY TRUST OF OREGON
We've helped Oregonians save and generate enough clean energy to power 265,000 homes and heat another 26,000 homes with natural gas. Saving energy costs utility ratepayers much less than building fossil fuel power plants – about 1/5 the cost for electricity and 1/3 the cost for natural gas.
From production to packaging, every aspect of their business is sustainable – without compromising on performance and design. In fact, their home appliances are among the most efficient and economical in the world. Just one example: since 1990, they have cut the water consumption of their appliances by 59%. https://www.bosch-home.com/about-us#/Togglebox=4390255-4387467-1/
