OUR PARTNERS
The National Green Building Standard™
The National Green Building Standard™ certification goes well beyond saying a home is energy efficient; it provides independent, third-party verification that a home, apartment building, or land development is designed and built to achieve high performance in six key areas: Site Design, Resource Efficiency, Water Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Building Operation & Maintenance. In fact, it is the only green building certification program that has been recognized as an ANSI standard.
ENERGY STAR
ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
HOME CERTIFIED INC.
Moisture levels elevated during the construction of the home caused by rain, building envelope issues or elevated moisture levels during the life of the home may cause structural, cosmetic, and health risks. Home Certified, Inc. works with builders, property managers, home buyers and owners to ensure that their homes are Dry Inside™.
METRO
Sustainable Living: Make the region greener at home, in your garden, at the store and on the road. Sustainable living renews rather than depletes the planet's resources and Metro can show you how.
ENERGY TRUST OF OREGON
We've helped Oregonians save and generate enough clean energy to power 265,000 homes and heat another 26,000 homes with natural gas. Saving energy costs utility ratepayers much less than building fossil fuel power plants – about 1/5 the cost for electricity and 1/3 the cost for natural gas.
